We are excited to introduce you to E.I.’s newest Programs Coordinator, Sarah Elrod. Sarah first developed a heart for Africa at 17 after becoming involved with Sozo Children, a nonprofit in Uganda. She served on staff with Sozo and later served in the Philippines with Wipe Every Tear, but her heart remained bent toward Africa. “It’s been eight years since I’ve been to Africa. I surrendered that dream to God, knowing He may never open that door again, but trusting that He knows the desires of my heart better than me.”
We have been praying for just the right person to join our team, and we can honestly say that Sarah is the answer to our prayers. And God, it seems, opened this beautiful door for her again. “It has been so beautiful letting God revive this passion in me that almost felt forgotten.” Sarah has already been such a blessing to us.
