ABOUT TUYEP
The Tujijenge Youth Empowerment Program (TUYEP) was developed to bridge the gap between high school graduation and pursuing higher education in Kenya.
Students first go through three months of classes focusing on
life skills, core business practices, and digital literacy to help them make informed decisions about their futures.
TUYEP’s curriculum also includes daily Bible study, where students strengthen their relationship with God and discover their
identity in Christ.
After the three months of classes, students have the opportunity to apply for an internship, apprenticeship, or university with TUYEP's guidance and support.
This six-month program equips young adults with the skills and knowledge to achieve their greatest potential by building a sustainable livelihood and contributing to their communities.
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT TRANSFORMS COMMUNITIES
75% of Kenyans are under the age of 35.

60% of people between ages 15 and 25 in Kenys are unemployed.
Many young Kenyans feel they have no way to break out of their current situation, causing them to lose hope and confidence in themselves. With no plans for their futures, youths are pulled into risky situations that include drugs, gangs, trafficking and more.

With TUYEP students are given the chance to find confidence in themselves, plan for their futures, build a relationship with God, and build hope where it was previously lost.

Spiritual nourishment through developing a relationship with God, finding identity in Christ, Bible study groups, and daily prayer and worship.
CORE BUSINESS PRACTICES
Develop Entrepreneurial Skills
Gain employability skills, identify unique skills and talents, learn how to be innovative and convert business idea into a viable and profitable income-generating venture.
DIGITAL LITERACY
Develop Technical Skills
Prepare to thrive in a digital world by gaining technical skills and digital marketing knowledge needed for a successful business in today's society.
