We want to introduce to you one of our education sponsorship recipients, Salome. She first joined our high school sponsorship program back in 2013 as an eager form-one student which is equivalent to a U.S. high school freshman. Today, she is graduating from Egerton University with a bachelor's degree and is looking forward to giving back and helping others just like her.
"Now that I am graduating, I am very grateful and I know there are so many other girls out there just like me who have potential, but maybe they don't have school fees. Once I get a job I want to give back to the community and rescue many girls like me."
We could not be more proud of Salome and her accomplishments. It has been a joy to see her grow and mature over the years. We trust she will go on to do great things with her life and we are thankful to all of you who have helped support her through your giving to our education programs. You truly have provided a strong foundation for her to build upon.
