God's Promises Fulfilled

For over 15 years, those in the Kieni Forest Camp were not allowed to farm the land they were living on and had very little food and water. Since resettling to the towns of Bahati and Subukia, they have been given freedom to farm the fertile soil that now belongs to them.

"When the poor and needy seek water, there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers on bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.” -Isaiah 41:17-18

WATER BRINGS THE HARVEST

Bahati and Subukia have tangibly seen the faithfulness of God as He has stayed true to His promise out of Isaiah given in 2007. They have found great joy in a successful bean harvest this year. Because of the home water tanks that you provided, their harvest has been plentiful and clean water has been available. Thank you for being a part of this year's harvest!

“We are happy and full with our bean harvest and waiting for the maize to dry. There has been a lot of rain and we thank God. Our community is becoming food secure.” -Bahati Resident
