Introducing the two newest members to Expansion International's Board of Directors, Pam Gabriel and Dr. Colleen Zimmermann. We are excited to have them both be a part of the organization and want to officially welcome them.
Pam Gabriel has lived in Boise since 1984 and is married to Todd Gabriel. Todd and Pam have 3 children, Nicolas 22, Corban 20, and McKenna 17. Pam has been on two mission trips with Expansion International, one with Todd and two of their children and one on her own. She spent a year volunteering with Expansion International, writing grant requests and helping out at the office. Through her grant writing and volunteering Pam has an understanding of Expansion International's goals and is excited to work with the rest of the board to see what God has planned for the future.
Dr. Colleen Zimmerman grew up in South Dakota and moved to Boise for her residency training. While working in Boise she learned about Expansion International and joined them for two medical mission trips. She was with the team that dedicated the land where we will build the Magumu Mercy Medical Clinic later this year. After moving to Spokane and meeting her husband they both joined Expansion for a trip to Kenya in 2014. She currently lives in Spokane, WA with her husband and young son where she has her medical practice and teaches family medicine. Colleen shared that she is excited to see how God will continue to work through Expansion International and is grateful to be a part of this ministry.
