We have a huge shout out and thank you to the Kids at EagleNaz! They recently raised funds to bless the children of the Kiatine Children's Center. The donations they collected on Sundays were used to purchase school supplies and sports equipment that Expansion sent along with our July Mission Trip team to Kenya.
On July 27th, the team passed out 129 backpacks! Students and teachers received crayons, pencils, pens, markers, paints, glue, rulers, construction paper, and notebooks. The children were elated as there was an abundant selection of styles for everyone. Afterward, everyone headed to the play yard to test out their new soccer balls, jump ropes, and frisbees. Joy was evident, and gratitude was even greater.
Little do the students know that there's more to come! Additional funds that were raised will purchase shoes for the kids and add new doors and windows to their school building. Stay tuned for even more smiles, but in the meantime, swipe through the photos below.
