Good-Bye Racheal

WE MISS YOU ALREADY!

If you’ve been on a trip to Kenya with us, you’ve most likely met Racheal Kamau, Expansion International Africa’s Education Program Coordinator. Racheal is someone that represented Christ and E.I.A. to our community partners and families so very well during her time with Expansion.

A woman of excellence, and integrity, Racheal was hired in 2015 at the age of 25. Her work as the Education Program Coordinator often took her far afield to meet with families, interact with students in each community, and coordinate speakers at annual student conferences. She also served as an interpreter for mission teams helping visitors feel welcome and special.

“I love the way Racheal is able to connect with students," says Jeanette Johnson, Expansion’s Education Program Director. “She understands and relates to them so well. Her strong faith has been a beautiful example to all of us.”

Danielle Moceri, Racheal’s U.S. counterpart for many years says, “Racheal has been such a godsend and will truly be missed. She always did her job with excellence and was fun to work with!”

Racheal retired from Expansion this past May. During her time with us, Racheal became a trusted employee and friend, married a wonderful man, and had two beautiful children. They are now expecting their third child this fall. We join Edith, Racheal’s mentor and friend in saying, “May the Lord grant Racheal the desires of her heart. We shall miss her. Missing her already!”
