Prayer Requests - Kenya's National Day of Prayer

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14

March 21st, is Kenya's National Day of Prayer. We believe that prayer is always instrumental, but especially important during these unprecedented times. As an organization, we will be joining our Kenyan brothers and sisters tomorrow in prayer to pray through the following requests.

  • Protection for small business owners and hourly wage earners in our community

  • Freedom from fear of the future

  • For one in our E.I. family who is battling stage 4 cancer -- Let's lift them up as they begin chemo and adrenal meds and believe God for complete and total healing. Let us all lift up their family and loved ones

  • For peace and wisdom to know how to navigate during this time

  • For God's people to become voices of hope and help within each community

  • For our homeless and vulnerable communities in the valley to receive all they need for healthy living

  • An arresting of the spread of Covid-19 in Kenya

  • Protection for our healthcare workers, grocery store workers and their families

  • E.I.'s family and supporters to be safe and cared for during this time.

  • For creative ways to participate in community during this time of social distancing

  • For E.I.'s board and staff and their family's health and protection.

  • For families during this time who are quarantined at home with their children or facing financial difficulties.

  • For funding to come into E.I. so we can continue the work of the ministry. Particularly funding for our daily operations in Kenya and the U.S. as well as operations of the Mercy Medical Clinic.

  • Wisdom regarding future medical mission trips during Covid-19

  • Effective and creative ways of communicating with our E.I. family of supporters during this time
