Created for Greatness: TUYEP Graduation Celebrates Youth Empowerment

The 2nd Tujijenge Youth Empowerment Program (TUYEP) Class of 2025 marked a defining moment in their journey with a powerful graduation celebration themed “Chosen for Greatness” (John 15:16). Joined by government officials, pastors, and Expansion International Africa staff, the graduates were honored not merely for completing a program, but for stepping boldly into their purpose.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16

Executive Director Madam Joyce Ndegwa encouraged the graduates to pursue excellence and live as agents of change in their communities. The day was full of joy, testimonies, and heartfelt celebration. Parents shared stories of transformation, noting how their children had grown more disciplined, responsible, and focused over the three-month journey.

The highlight of the day came as 21 beneficiaries stepped forward to receive their Certificates of Completion, greeted by applause and pride. But the impact went even deeper, nine participants gave their lives to Christ, a testament to TUYEP’s holistic approach to empowerment.

TUYEP is more than a training program. It’s a life-changing experience rooted in daily Bible study, practical skills, and personal growth. Through courses in Life Skills, Digital Literacy, and Core Business & Innovation, participants gain tools to thrive spiritually, professionally, and socially.

This cohort leaves with more than certificates, they walk away with renewed faith, stronger values, and a clear vision for their future. They are truly created for greatness and are ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
